Before the area was renovated this spot was a local favorite for teenagers wishing to creep themselves out. Rumors abound regarding every eerie and unexplained phenomena in the former derelict buildings. No updates on whether the new shopping plaza continues to experience the same haunted happenings as before.

I grew up in this area and when I was little I had heard a story about an asylum that was ran by nuns and they would torture the women there. When the building was still standing but not operational anymore. You could see a women’s outline looking at you.
What’s your last name Amber I grew up there to I think I know who this is Danny
This location was the Good Sheperd Home For Girls” from 1947 to 1981, then it sat vacant for many years until all but the main building was torn down and a strip mall was built incorporating the main bldg, now a registerd historic bldg. I grew up a few miles away from 1971 on and never heard of it being haunted. But therr are claims from the store employees!
Where Albertsons sits was once known as paderdale it was a place run by cathlic nuns who were quite strict . My sister was locked up there because she got in trouble for what I don’t recall . Nothing happened bad but she said it was haunted too .
