Lovelady Bridge

Reportedly the site of a suicide or car accident in which a pregnant woman died. Apparently you can hear her crying at night on the bridge.

  1. I grew up in Reeltown so all I have to say is true. That is NOT a picture of the bridge. The bridge is NOT in Camp Hill. The bridge is on Lovelady Road, Dadevlle,AL. There’s about 4 stories of what actually happened.

    1) She killed her child by thowing him/her off the bridge.
    2) She committed suicide.
    3) Her boyfriend killed her while she was getting a cigarette.
    4) The wreck.

    Ways to summon her

    1) Say “Lovelady,Lovelady we have your baby”.
    2) At exactly midnight, flash your headlights 3 times.
    3) Do number 2 but add number 1 to it.
    4) Offer her a cigarette

    That’s the only ones I’ve ever heard, and I grew up hearing all of that. Hope I’ve helped.
