When I first read “Bayou La Batre” in relation to ghosts, I had an overwhelming urge to yell “Run, Forrest! Run!” I refrained. In any event people claim that you can see the ghost of a man leaving a specific cell, and a toilet flushing *even though no one is ever put in that cell*. Really? Why not? I mean why have a cell if you aren’t going to use it? In any event I don’t recommend getting yourself arrested to check out this haunted hot spot.

This is true. I spent 24 hours there. There is a jail cell that looks like someone lives in it. It has a lamp and bookshelf, and kitchen items. I asked the cop if I could be in that cell. He said the cell is haunted by a guy that killed himself in the cell. He said the ghost is much quieter since they moved his earthly belongings into the cell. There was already alot of yelling from a crazy guy in there. I never want to go back.
