Glenn Curtiss was an aviation pioneer, and almost single-handedly founded the U.S. aviation industry. His home in Miami Springs – though for a long time left to ruin – has now been renovated and is a major attraction.
There are stories on the Internet about Curtiss dying in the house from a fire he supposedly set himself, but that seems to be nonsense – his biography clearly states he died of appendicitis in Buffalo, NY.
There are reports of screams coming from the house at night, and lights that go on and off on their own.

had my brothers wedding there, didn’t notice anything but I sure got drunk as hell!
I have been trying to gain access to the home without success but didn’t feel anything haunted while walking the exterior grounds, for what it’s worth.
This is the wrong one. The haunted Curtiss House is the one he built for his mother
I used to come here when I was a teen. There was whispering and screaming. We only made it half way through the house (kitchen area still had dirty dishes piled up) and we ran the hell out. I got in my mustang which was a convertible and as we were driving around near the entrance, headed toward Hialeah, you could hear a tennis ball bouncing back and forth on the tennis court but there was no one playing.
