Some tourists swear they see Ernest himself waving from the top window, though considering how many sweaty tourists pile through the poor man’s house each day, I’d find it hard to believe he’s that cheerful about it. Docents claim that lights turn on and off mysteriously after hours, and that the faint sounds of a typewriter can still be heard.
