The forest all around Lake Elmo (lake) is rumoured to be haunted by a middle-aged man who walks the trails in the early evening hours. Visitors who approach or greet the apparition get a surprise when the man disappears into thin air, no-where to be seen. People who walk the trail also get a sense of being watched.

I lived in the back of the Park reserve for several years in a farm house they have torn down now. My family and I had numerous incidents with three different apparitions. One was a young boy, the other a middle aged farm man, and a young woman. I definitely believe in this area being haunted. I will try to find pictures to posts later and maybe tell some of our stories.
Share your pictures. We often go there. My Family has camped there but no scary stories.
I walked a trailer around a Lake in the western part of the reserve. Part of it was an old rpad but was still the trail. I did not lbow the haunted history but I saw a clear brown apparition go right to left and into the woods which I thought wasca native american but it could hv been the old man.
