The building was built in 1847 and is on the MIssissippi River. It was a rooming house for those on the Red River Ox Cart Trail. There have been numerous reports of smells, sightings, and sounds by a variety of visitors. Personally I have seen a woman sitting on the steps, have heard footsteps on the second floor, have smelled bacon and stew cooking. Others have reported a young boy playing marbles. A young man and a young women have been heard and seen. A couple different paranormal investigators have done investigations and have captured movement and other evidence.
