Renwick was used as a location to treat smallpox patients, but 13,000 lost their lives here before being dumped into the bay. The building was abandoned in the 1950’s and is now thought to be a dangerous place, often used as a drug den. For those who are brave enough to explore, they might see the ghost of an old woman or hear voices of those who died during the outbreak.
