One of the former owners, Ysidora, is said to be here and could possibly be the reason people hear crying the chapel. A male figure has also been seen on the grounds and might possibly have been the skeleton discovered hidden within these walls during a renovation in the 1970’s.

I just walked this location as a possible wedding venue. When I asked the rangers if it was haunted they told me one morning they came in and all the signage on the antique furniture in the museum saying “please do not sit” was swept off every piece of furniture on to the floor.
Another time one park ranger came in and found puddles of an ectoplasm substance on the floor that didn’t seem to be coming from anywhere.
Needless to say I think I’ll be having my wedding here for sure!!
