  1. The story of how the lady got there is that before she was married she went down to the shore to pick flowers. A guard who was on duty heard the bushes rustling, thought it was someone trying to attack the fort or possibly the ones getting married. He fired his gun in the bushes, which killed her in her white wedding dress. Since then, visitors report seeing her apparition by the rocks.
