Beild House Country Inn

You are here Home  > Hotels and Inns >  Beild House Country Inn

Beild House Country Inn was built in 1912 for Dr. Joseph Arthur, his family home and office. Now an inn, it is said to be haunted by a voice that asks folks what they are doing here. An apparition of a man in a white tie and tails, top hat and cloak have been seen, and on the basement stairs have been heard. Laundry also has been tossed around the room.

  1. I was just there as I was looking for a B&B for the night. It’s all closed up, gardens overgrown, vines growing on the house everywhere. Maybe the ghosts won this one.
