Jani Lane, the lead singer of Warrant (known for the song “Cherry Pie”) died here. In room 118, where he died, guests smell vodka, hear humming, or feel as if they aren’t alone.

This place also was the scene of a guy who died a few years back in his 40 found tied up and strangled. Briefly the hotel changed its name to the 818 Hotel and is now permanently closed.
