Being Harry Houdini’s former residence if not only for a brief period of time, it has since burned down and been rebuilt. People who explore these premises report seeing the ghost of Houdini himself wandering the grounds. Having also been used as a recording studio, some band members have reported unusual activity while making music; this includes photographic evidence, temperature fluctuations, and being touched.

This location is different than the Hollywood location that was known to be Houdini’s Castle. I used to go up there as a teenager. By then, the mansion was burned down to the ground but people would explore the grounds. Stoners would frequently party there. The old tennis courts were graffitied with the words “welcome to hell” The location I am thinking about is north of Fountain on Curson. Years later, Los Angeles City built a park there. I have stories, email me if interested.

I went there with friends to get high back in the 70s. It had already burned down but parts were still there. Homeless people stayed there. It was creepy at midnight going in there.
