Staff members have claimed to see the apparition of a young man dressed as a bellboy in the downstairs of the building. Many customers have seen the ghost of a elderly woman in the main lobby. A woman by the name of Mrs Paige did in fact die in the building back in 1880.

There is no downstairs, the new moon is one story with apartments/loft space above which is not accessible to the public, I live in oshkosh.
The first floor was originally the “downstairs” referred to in the description. The New Moon was originally a hotel/rooming house that was destroyed by a fire with loss of lives. The patrons who perished were staying on the second floor; hence, the reason why the reference to “downstairs.” I also live in Oshkosh in a historical home just blocks away from the New Moon.
There are no ghosts at this location but the Grand has many. Another place which is hunted is the house on Jackson st. that had the bowling ally upstairs.
I also live in Oshkosh but no wear near The New Moon Cafe.
