Flynn Steakhouse, reported to no longer be in operation, was housed in a building from 1868, and had a haunted, unused hotel upstairs. Misty white formations were known to appear, long believed to be the ghost of Mary, a child who passed away here in the 1860s. Among the strange things that have happened here are visions of a woman in a white dress, gas burners that turn on by themselves, unexplained sounds such as a player piano or an object being dragged, and a loaf of bread that once levitated.

Growing up in a neighboring town during the 70’s, it was a special occasion to eat at steak house with my family. As a child, I met a girl in the bathroom that wore a “funny old dress” and would talk to her. I don’t remember if she ever talked back, but I don’t believe so. She never gave me a name, but I called her Heather. One night I was scolded because I was found hiding under the salad bar while playing hide-and-seek with Heather. The restaurant was closed and reopened several times over the years, but whenever I returned, I always felt welcomed by something or someone other than the staff or customers there.
Sarah, do you know if they are open to public currently?
Yes they are open today
They are now called Payne’s pub and grill
I talked to current of that building and experience involved of a darker presents being their on the third floor sracthes and people being pushed and also strange events happening at the adjacent supper club one worker describe cigar smoke by the basement and loud banging noises.
