Nelsen’s Hall Bitters Pub & Restaurant is housed in a historic building and sells the drink used as a “tonic” (wink) during the Prohibition era. It is said to be haunted by the spirit of namesake Tom Nelsen, the Danish man who got a pharmaceutical license to serve his tonic at the establishment. Staff says they have heard footsteps on the stairs and seen unexplained things, like doors closing by themselves.
