My family goes to the cemetery on Memorial Day every year to visit my great grandpa. Last year there were hundreds of fake flowers that had fallen off of the bouquets, and were laying on the ground. My cousin who was four at the time picked one up and handed it to someone we couldn’t see. My uncle asked what he was doing, and he replied “Giving a flower to this sad man.” We all had chills.
Orbs… a lot of orbs. This is not that uncommon for most civil war chapel and cemetery.
While I do not doubt the validity of spirits in the cemetery I do want to say something about the “orbs”.99.99 times “orbs” are dust particles or flying bugs(VERY prominent in cemeteries) caught in the reflective lens of the flash of a camera. If you see a light with your own eye then also catch it on camera there you have an “orb” or light anomaly.I’m the Case Manager/Investigator to Ghostalkers Paranormal-Missouri and it took our founder(who is also a professional photog) to get it though my head about “orbs” .We would love the chance to do a full investigation in the cemetery one night though. This cemetery is extremely haunted. I have seen a soldier carrying the American flag but, only from the waist up, no legs. Also a very dark entity standing next to a headstone that gave us chills, we left the cemetery immediately.
I would love to do an investigation here, but I thought the cemetery is closed at night. I was wondering if the people commenting here have gotten permission to be there at night or they have witnessed these apparitions in the day time when it is opened?
