Highfield Hall, built in 1878 for the Beebe Family, was in disrepair when Historic Highfield ttook over to renovate it. The stately mansion is said to have a ghost who peers out the center upstairs window. Locals believe it is Mary Louisa Beebe, who succumbed to cancer in this room at age 45.
