Guilford College is said to have haunts in its 1961 Dana Auditorium. The building is said to stand on the site of a makeshift Civil War hospital where many soldiers died. The oldest ghost in residence is Lucas, a soldier who tends to appear at 2 a.m. in the Moon Room or the Choir Room. He plays pianos, tinkers with locks, and once swung and broke a chandelier right in front of security guards. Another ghost, that of a small dark-haired girl in a white dress, has been seen in the Choir Room.

I was in the Quaker cemetery right across the road from Guilford College a few years ago with a voice recorder. The cemetery itself is one of the most paranormally active that I have been in. But one night in particular I felt a very cold chill and lit a candle. I began to ask questions and one of them being is anyone here, the flame went almost out then grew brighter, I asked who I was talking to and later when I was listening to the recording I was given the name Lucas. I also picked up the view of a young child asking who was i and a small giggle. This may be a coincidence but wow!
I would like to get permission to investigate I run a paranormal group in NC call NCCapers and like to get information on who to contact to get permission to do a scientific investigation please let me know Thank You
