This historic two-story residence was built in 1915, and previously managed by a family-owned honey company. This house is one of the most haunted in Texas, with many apparitions being seen and heard in the old house. Doors open and close by themselves, voices are heard at night, and footsteps are heard when there’s no one around. Doors and windows are knocked on and furniture moves around by itself. The ghosts that haunt the house include an old woman who sits outside on a garden swing, a teenage boy and a younger girl. The ghost of a tall man smoking a cigar is seen in the bedroom and at the top of the stairs, while the ghost of a distressed young woman can be seen frantically moving around the house at night. It is she who can be heard screaming in the early hours of morning, but she also occasionally makes premonitions about family members who live there.
