Local lore has it that there is a “ghost beast” that lives at Frear Park. It is known to jump on cars, and is heavy enough to shake it as if a full-sized person were sitting on your trunk. Sometimes claw marks are left behind.

  1. I had the “ghost beast” experience, too with a ton of friends. Came out to our cars with the one car with claw marks all over the outside of the car, left in the condensation left on the car from a humid night. Went under a set of trees that sets in the middle of the cemetery and in August, we all turned very cold with goosebumps and could see our breath for a moment.

    It was interesting.
