The Gray Road ghost begins with a legend that those who stop their cars on the railroad tracks will see a ghost coming toward their car. The surrounding woods and swamps are said to be haunted as well, some folks even claiming to have seen the Headless Horseman.

people like to screw with you on that road with chainsaws just an fyi!
Really?
Was there a couple times as a teen. The last time i shut my car off right before the tracks and it wouldn’t start back up. That never happened with that car before or after ever! The place is creepy and defiantly serious negative energy going on there.
I lived near the road for about 4 years. On state Route 48. The swamp would go behind my house, well anyway late at night I once saw a little girl in a white bress standing bye my shed, well I went out and yelled for it and it wasn’t there, I went back inside and it was right outside my window. The little girl had freckles and looked to be a scar above her left eye. So after about 3 minutes of starring at this little ghost girl I blinked and it was gone. And I drobe down that road one time at night and I saw the same little girl standing bye the tracks standing at the end of the driveway closet to the County Route 25. Scary stuff
I went down this road 2 days ago. I was by myself so I didn’t want to stop or get out, more so just check it out but I didn’t have my windows rolled down. The first time I drove down the only notable thing was that it was dead silent. So I decided to turn around and try again but a little slower. I make it about half way down the road when I start smelling flowers, it wasn’t a pleasant armoa but more like flowers in a funeral parlor. Note there are no flowers growing because everything is covered in a few feet of snow. Shortly after that my abdomen starts to cramp. I get off the road and start driving towards Oswego and the pain keeps getting worse until I say out loud “I’m not on your road anymore, you can stop now” and suddenly it stopped. Not sure if my head/body was playing tricks on me but it was kind of freaky. 10/10 would go again lol
I live very close to Gray Road, and I went walking with some friends one night. We were just being typical teenagers, and decided to walk on the old tracks. My two friends ran ahead, but me being slow and lazy, I fell behind. As I was walking, I saw another person. I thought it was one of my friends, so I ran up to them. It turned around, and I saw the face of a young boy. At first I freaked out a bit, but I asked him where his parents were. He didn’t answer, so I looked around. When I turned back to him, he was gone. Since then, I’m too scared to go on that road at night.
