I’ve seen things out of the corner of my eyes, and I’ve felt like the mannequins have moved several times. I may just be imagining things, but I don’t think so.
Glad I am not the only one who has thought the mannequins may have moved.
The strawberry bitch
The p.o.w. area.
I used to work in a building, now gone, that had at least one ghost who would “come to work”. The front door and lockers could be heard opening and closing, footsteps coming down the hall, then the break room doorknob would turn…then, nothing. No one there. Many, many witnesses to this, myself included.
It was the ’80s when I worked there and now I can’t remember the street (somewhere around J, F or H streets). I’m thinking the base daycare center may be on the old lot.
I worked in the museum in the early-mid 90s. We would sometimes work after closing to clean after events or do maintenance. I cannot tell all of the times we were frightened. Once several of us heard what sounded like a bag dragging near the POW area, which always gave us a bad feeling anyway. The Glenn Miller exhibit would play music by itself without anyone near to push the button. Elevators would ring and open their doors when there was literally no one in the building but us. As for myself, we were coded, I was waiting for the IMAX theater guys to finish maintenance and I was downstairs, doors locked, after hours, no one there. I walked towards one of the doors by the info desk and saw a man in my peripheral vision walking up behind me, from the gift shop area. Thinking someone was there who shouldn’t be I stopped and swung around to confront him. No one there. Now, part of the reason the mannequin look odd or real is that some of them were modeled after staff! I was there when they were doing that.
When staying in the Taylor House (DVQ) while during a move in August 2013, I had an experience. While walking down the stair in the dark around 2 a.m. I felt a caressing touch down my left forearm as my hand slid down the wood stair banister. Stayed in the house a week and had no other occurrence however, I always “felt” a presence there.
I saw a shadow in the zero.I took a pic but no shadow appeared on my phone.
