I’ve been visiting this location ever since I was very young; it has since been reopened a number of times as different bussinesses. I had never seen or felt anything here and know the suicide is only a legend as no one has come forward with any documentation.
If you’d like to visit a true haunted building, Hastings has many and local tours and paranormal groups can be contacted.
My first job was working here when I was 15. Yes it is what I believe is haunted… I often heard unexplained noises in the kitchen area which I was in the main store closing up or when I would start my evening shift … I usually dismissed it but I was always creeped out by it.
I know when i worked here in 1998-1999 , i often would hear noises from the room I wasn’t in … like when i was clean the store at night I would hear stuff rattle or fall or noises i just remember feeling weird … i had know idea it was haunted .. but that totally makes sense now thinking back on all the things and not feeling alone at least two times there… this is crazy… amie, class of 2001!!
