The theater is reported to be the site of a drug overdose by deceased Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Some say that theater namesake Mr. Moore still resides here, as well as some of the female actresses who performed on this stage long ago. A phantom smell of cigar smoke has been known to waft from the seats, and witnesses have described an eerie feeling of being watched.

  1. My family and I stayed at The Moore a week ago. I captured a ghost/orb flying around my husband in the hallway of the seventh floor, we stayed in the suite 724. Contact me if you want to see the footage. Apparently Ghost Hunters didn’t find any evidence of haunting a, but I have this video and someone/something pulled my ponytail when I moved a bedside table.
