This elegant tavern was originally built in the 1700s, and after suffering two fires has been completely restored. It is named after original owner Conrad Stouch. George Washington once spent the night here, as did other digitaries. Given its long history, it’s not surprising that it sees so much paranormal activity. A ghostly girl and a phantom carriage have been reported, as well as footsteps, faucets that work by themselves, doors that unlatch and open on their own, and much more. Proprietors have nicknamed one of the spirits George.
