In the university’s John C. West Hall, the apparition of a young girl’s torso has been seen, believed to be the spirit of a student who froze to death outside the dorm. The ghost is said to tinker with the electricity and TVs in the complex. Also, in Stacher Hall (Technology Department), the apparition of a man’s arm has been seen sporadically in the doorway of the second-floor graphics darkroom. A feeling of being watched and a floral perfume along with small gusts of air have been detected in the computer lab.

My sister was at UND ata the time the woman supposedly froze. She said it never happened. I also checked with WDAZ TV news director, at the time Chuck Bundlie and he stated this event didn’t take place. There may be a ghost but the reason for it isn’t this story.
Of course they aren’t going to say it happened they would loose students
I work at und and I hear the story all the time so I’m pretty sure its true
4 N. 21st St. is a white duplex across from the university, next to the train tracks that had a suicide in either 2005 or 2006. Perhaps the energy is still there.
