Red Mill Museum Village, recreating an 1810 mill, is haunted by an apparition who many tourists believe is a hired re-enactor on the third floor. The old man wears period clothing and a black hat and he doesn’t speak. But the museum does not hire re-enactors, so if you see one, chances are it is a ghost. There are said to be many ghosts and unexplained phenomena that happen on the premises, and Spirits of the Red Mill tours are usually given monthly. The site was features on an episode of TV’s Ghost Hunters.

12 years ago on a class trip my mom and I saw a girl about 15 or so working the spinning wheel at the museum.we watched her work for about 5-6 min then caught up with the group.when we layer asked who the girl was they informed us that no one was allowed to touch the machines and they didn’t have any volunteers. Layer when watching ghost hunters we learned the secret of the young girl .her father worked at the mill in the 1800s .she was playing one day fell down the coal shoot and died
