Princeton Hospital was turned into Lakeside Hospital in 2000. The psychiatric hospital is rumored to be haunted by spirits who move empty wheelchairs or apparate as ghostly nuns and doctors. A phantom patient with hollow eyes is said to stare sadly or angrily at staff members. The second and third floors are said to be particularly active. Unexplained noises, rapping, and voices have been reported, and lights have been known to come on and off by themselves on empty floors.

i almost fell into a sink hole near the lake and was quick to hurry back to solid ground . it was quick sand really close to the side door. i get the odd feeling of being watched and followed in side of the building. my friend was very worried that we was going to drop him off and not pick him back up. i swore that there were other people sitting in the waiting room with us as he waited to be called. it was the longest and most odd times like stepping fourty or fifty years into the past and forgot about i also saw the ghost pushing the wheel chair as well it was very creepy and every boby there was very sedated and out of their normal frame of mind. i dont plan on going there if i dont have too … total test of one nerve and a real evil under tone.

Hi, I’m sorry that happened. My wife was admitted there with infections every 3months and be put under for surgery Everytime for about 3 years. There were always vibes if we were on the older wings. When we were in 8tower we slept better. She also passed away recently and have a calling to figure this out. Any info you find I’d great appreciate a share and I will do the same for you.
I work here as a nurse and I can promise you it is definitely haunted (never had any bad feelings)….when I was in orientation on the first floor I felt a hand on my right shoulder however no one was next to me then upon our tour of the facility we went to the 3rd floor (which is empty) and I felt something pull my hair gently…2nd floor empty too but I have yet to go there…interestingly enough all over the internet it states 2 and 3rd floors are most haunted however these floors are “closed” and no one knows why….hmmmm!!!
I worked at this hospital in the late 1990’s about the time they had a massive employee layoff. I had to draw blood on a patient on the third floor. At this time, the 2nd floor was closed. I know I pressed the button for the 3rd floor, but the elevator opened the door on the 2nd floor. I was paying attention, but I walked out of the elevator. When I looked up, I realized the floor was empty and only the dim overhead lights were on. I quickly realized my mistake and turned to get back onto the elevator. It was in the process of closing. I tried to press the up button, but the doors wouldn’t reopen. As I stood there waiting, the phone at the far desk started ringing. Who would be calling a floor that has been closed for months? I started feeling uncomfortable waiting for the elevator with the phone ringing. I walked down the rectangular floor to where the phone was ringing. I thought about picking it up, but the voice in my head said “don’t do it”. Close by, I noticed a stairwell. I went to open the door, but it was locked. Why was it locked?? I noticed that the elevator still had not returned, and the phone was still ringing. I was starting to panic, and I ran back towards the elevator. Luckily, I noticed another stairwell off to the right of the elevator. I used all my strength to hoist it open, and I ran down the steps. I never saw anyone nor heard anyone. It was a time in my life that stayed with me, and I remember it like it was last week.
