This restored 1815 home and museum site is haunted by an apparition. Speculators say it may be original builder Upton Beall, his wife Jane, or one of their daughters: Jane, Mathilda or Margaret. Some suppose it also could be a household slaves. Ghost tours are offered around Halloween.

I was there winter 2010 for my boyfriends chamber choir concert and I went upstairs, ironically I was alone and I felt a rough tug on my hair.
Another time I went when I was really little like 3 or 4 and my mom said that I refused to go upstairs, she said that I was truly terrified of that place.
