Bolem House

Folks here believe the house may originally have been built as a tavern for the sailors. Ghostly sailors have been seen and heard here: On Christmas Day in 1993, a resident came across a ghostly man in old-fashioned sailor attire in the kitchen. The witness said the sailor didn’t appear to have any teeth and appeared to be confused, wandering from the kitchen into the hall before vanishing.

This house was in my family almost 90yrs! I can’t tell u for sure if it’s haunted but I truly believe it! After several family deaths directly inside it feels like a warm beast hug when u walk in… but that’s only family. It’s very welcoming and cheerful the way a tavern atmosphere would be! But besides a tavern it was a brothel! I’ve spent many a night of my 36 yrs inside this beautiful hone and was devastated when we had to let it go.
