According to “Haunted Inns of the Southeast,” guests and staff regularly hear “giggling and footsteps” in the upper floor of the house, when no one else is around. (Seems only to be expected at an inn that sells a trademarked line of spice products called “Satan’s Breath”!)

I have been here before with my family. Around December, we went there. We heard footsteps coming from upstairs and laughing, my mother though it was my father playing tricks on her, but she later found out that it wasn’t. I was too afraid to sleep by myself, so I huddled in with them at night, and I pulled the cover over my head and tried not to shake from the fear. P.S: we had the master bedroom.
