According to the scary tales told about this place, Madame Mineurcanal, a former owner, hanged herself from an overhead beam on the third floor after killing her beloved dog. Her apparition has been seen here with her little white dog. Cold spots, moaning sounds and a dog’s barking also have been reported. But be sure not to make fun of the ghost! Legend has it that a young boy once did, and he was awoken in the night by a hearty slap in the fast that left a red mark.
