Even the elevator is haunted in this historic hotel – like something out of The Twilight Zone, it may stop on the wrong floor and opens to reveal ghost children playing in chilly hallways. More than 12 spirits are said to be here, including children who love to play hide-and-seek. The 14th (actually the 13th) floor is particularly haunted; a little boy in a striped shirt has been seen. He’s believed to be Maurice, son of Josephine and Jacques Begere, who stayed at the hotel in the late 19th century. Maurice was killed when runaway horses threw him from the buggy. He is thought to be searching for his parents, who were staying on the 14th (13th) floor.

I woke up one night while staying at this hotel and had blood all over the sheets and none on me. A lady dressed in white was in my doorway and reached her arms towards me as of asking for help and as I covered my face with a blanket she placed herself next to me on the bed. elevator shut the door on my husbands face as he tried to get in with me. One of my friends had a room were every morning would crack and break. My other friend had his change scattered all over his desk and when he came back to collect it all the change was stacked neatly. When we took pictures in the banquet room a lot of ores were around us. Also a lot of running down the halls but I don’t know if that’s paranormal.
