Haunted Cottage - Booth House

You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  Haunted Cottage - Booth House

Paranormal researcher Vince Wilson operates this cottage and attraction that offers ghost tours, paranormal research training, and seances. The school is said to educate pupils on the history of ghosts starting with the first known hauntings in ancient Babylonia. It is called the Booth House because John Wilkes Booth is said to have stayed here, and it is believed to be haunted.

    1. I’m currently sitting 10 feet away from the haunted cottage. It is very real.. Extremely legit. My best friend lives next door and they’ve seen all kinds of stuff through the windows.

    2. I was there with my wife one night for an investigation. At the time they were also doing murder mystery dinners (and I hope they did away with that). We were there for some hours. We visited the cellar, the attic, the bedrooms on the second floor. The evening consisted of guided exercises in investigation, time to investigate on our own, and also short lectures on topics such as seances, etc. We were in a bedroom set up as a séance room on the second floor when we heard furniture being moved around. When we came back downstairs, we found only one folding chair moved into a different room, but it sounded as if the ground floor had been rearranged. Later, while we were in the living room talking about EVPs, the back door opened on its own. What I heard just prior to that was the sound of heavy footsteps that ran up the stairs and stopped at the door. After that, everything went quiet. We left early because my wife was pooped, but we had still been there at least four hours.

    3. I am trying to get ahold of the Baltimore paranormal research society your contact information doesn’t allow me to contact you for some reason I don’t know if it’s your website or website or what so if you would happen to see this or if there’s a way to get ahold of you please let me know or if somebody else knows. I am a paranormal investigator just outside of Gettysburg and I’m trying to link up with these folks so if somebody could help me out that would be great. Paranormal Purgatory is my channel and group name.
